The overarching ambition of Alkent 2000 Kitchen Design was to establish an uninterrupted spatial dialogue that respects natural illumination and movement patterns. Executed in Alkent 2000, Istanbul, the project carefully responds to structural alignments and ceiling proportions, realizing an architectural presence that feels grounded yet weightlessly serene.
Materiality & Tactile Detailing
The material palette is curated with rigorous discretion, pairing anti-scratch matte lacquer cabinetry, quartz/porcelain island worktops, concealed pantry access, and ergonomic organizational inserts. Silk-matte lacquer surfaces diffuse ambient light softly across the room, while precision 45-degree mitered joints and recessed profiles reflect TMC Mimarlık’s relentless dedication to tactile excellence and artisan joinery.
